Frequently Asked Questions

Please contact us if you cannot find an answer to your question.

No. All assessments at the Bone Joint Muscle and Spine Walk In Clinic are provided at no out-of-pocket cost for all OHIP covered patients.

No. You do not need a referral. We are a direct-access facility designed to provide immediate assessments for bone, joint, muscle, and spine issues.

We assess musculoskeletal (MSK) issues. This includes suspected sprains or fractures, sudden back and neck pain, and joint issues involving the knees, shoulders, or hips. We can help with MSK issues from sports injuries, car accidents, and workplace accidents to get you on the path to recover.

Regular walk-in clinics treat general illnesses like colds or infections. We focus exclusively on orthopedic and spine care.

We can assess both chronic pain and new injuries. Whether you have a sudden injury from today or a chronic condition that has been bothering you for months, our team is here to help diagnose your pain.

While we do not perform imaging on-site, we provide the necessary requisitions for local community facilities. With locations situated just minutes from both our Windsor and Essex clinics, you can complete your required X-ray or Ultrasound following your assessment. Once imaging is complete, our team will discuss the results with you.

After your assessment, our team will provide advice and recommendations on next steps to your recovery. This may include a diagnosis, requisitions for further imaging, specialist referral, or recommendations for rehabilitation and/or bracing.

Yes. We assess injuries resulting from workplace incidents or motor vehicle accidents and can help guide you on the necessary steps for your recovery and documentation.

No appointments are necessary. We operate on a walk-in basis during our regular business hours to ensure you get care when you need it most.

Emergency Note: If you are experiencing a life-threatening emergency, such as a compound fracture (bone protruding through the skin) or severe trauma, please call 911 or go directly to the nearest Emergency Department.
